From its conception, the company has been mananged by a team of nearly thirty people with extensive biomedical research and scientific management experience.

On one hand, Digna Biotech offers its own scientific personnel and research infrastructures in Pamplona, while on the other hand it has a management team, commercial office and collaboration with research groups in Madrid.

Digna Biotech´s personnel includes professionals from the biomedical business, with ample industry expertise, medical directors and specialists in R&D. They, along with the interdisciplinary support of scientific, legal and financial advisors, and experts in pharmaceutical marketing and drug registration, have allowed the consolidation of rigorous and professional working methodology.

Dr. Pablo Ortiz, Doctor of Medicine by Autonomus University of Spain. He counts with an extensive training in management, and over 25 years of experience in the multinational pharmaceutical industry (Boehringer Ingelheim). Today he is the Digna Biotech´s General Director.

Dr. Juan Ruiz, Doctor of Medicine and specialist in Internal Medicine, with extensive experience directing numerous research projects, publications, patents and clinical trials. He is President of the Spanish Society of Gene Therapy (Sociedad Española de Terapia Génica) and is presently the Medical Director of Digna Biotech.

Dra. M. Eugenia Cornet holds a Doctorate in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, with extensive experience in basic and clinical research in a number of the areas of the projects Digna Biotech aims to develop. She has directed research projects and has also assumed responsibilities in commercial management, in different contract research organizations. She is presently the Scientific Director.

Dra. María del Mar Municio holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, with experience in the identification of specific inhibitors targeted to molecules with tumor activity. From the Centro de Biología Molecular Severo Ochoa she has participated in different basic research projects with pharmaceutical laboratories. In the last 9 years she has worked in the management of clinical research projects and related activities in different therapeutic areas. She is presently Project Director at Digna Biotech - a post she has held since April 2006.

Dr. Miguel Ángel Prado holds a PhD in Biology from the University of Navarra and a Master in Biotechnology. Following his stay as investigator and lecturer in the University of Navarra, and until his incorporation to Digna, he pursued his professional career in the commercial setting. The combination of scientific and teaching activities with commercial experience in the university, hospital and industrial sectors, afford an ideal profile for developing the Diagnostic Area, of which he is presently Director.
